TECHNICAL EFFECT OF THE HONEYCOMB FRAME
The foam core will be filled with a resin matrix through the honeycomb frame. The resin between the honeycomb foam bodies build up resin bridges through the core. The cured resin reinforce the foam core.
The resin bridges inside the foam connect the fabric layers on both sides. These bridges create a hexagonal double T-girder so that the forces can be lead into the structure. Buckling or failure of the honeycomb is excluded and prevents delamination.
