General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. It also addresses the export of personal data outside the EU. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.

Note on data protection

Of course, personal data submitted as part of the online offer will be treated in accordance with applicable data protection laws. A storage of personal data takes place only for the purpose of answering inquiries and / or a later customer relationship. Of course, your information will not be shared with third parties unless required by the business case or required by law. A sale of personal data does not take place. For technical unavoidable reasons, various server statistics are automatically saved, which your browser transmits to the server.

These data are usually not assigned to specific individuals for the company. A merge of this data with other data sources will not be done. In addition, so-called cookies are used to make the offer more user-friendly, faster, more effective and safer. The cookies themselves are small text files that are stored on your computer and stored by your browser. Most of these cookies are "session cookies". These will be deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. The nature of this online offering also stores information that you enter yourself. This concerns primarily the commentary functions but also the contact possibility through a contact form. All information is voluntary and will not be checked in any way, the use of pseudonyms etc. is therefore possible.

Depending on their function, cookies on this website can be divided into different categories:

(1) Essential cookies

Essential cookies, which can also be referred to as "absolutely necessary" or "necessary", ensure functions without which you could not use this website as intended. Accordingly, these cookies are always enabled. They are used exclusively by our website and are only used when you visit our website. After closing your browser, they are usually deleted again. In addition, they are used to retrieve the optimized website display when accessed with a mobile device so that, for example, your data volume is not unnecessarily consumed. Cookies also facilitate the change of page from http to https, so that the security of the transmitted data remains guaranteed. Essential cookies cannot be deactivated on our website itself. In general, however, you can deactivate cookies in your browser at any time.

(2) Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies are used to offer content that is more specifically relevant to the user and adapted to his or her interests. They are also used to measure and control the effectiveness of campaigns. They record, for example, whether a website has been visited or not, as well as which content has been used. This information is used to create an interest profile so that only content of interest to you is displayed. If you withdraw your consent to marketing cookies, this does not mean that you will see and receive less content as a result. Rather, it means that the content you see and receive is not tailored to your individual needs. Third-party marketing cookies we use include: Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag and Sendinblue. These providers are discussed in more detail below.

Your rights

In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and opposition. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or if your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in a way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Germany this is the data protection authority.

Contact us

If you contact us via the contact form on this website or by e-mail, your data will be stored to process the request and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share your data and use it solely to process your request.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the case of the activation of the IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use all the features of this website to the full extent possible. In addition, you can prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and your related use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the available browser plugin.

For more information about Terms of Use and Privacy, see Google Analytics Terms or Google Analytics Policies. Please note that on this website Google Analytics uses the code "ga ('set', 'anonymizeIp', true);" was extended to ensure the anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

Facebook Pixel

Privacy policy

We use the Facebook Pixel from Facebook on our website. We have implemented a code on our website to do this. The Facebook pixel is a snippet of a JavaScript code that loads a collection of functions that allow Facebook to track your user actions if you have come to our website via Facebook ads. For example, when you purchase a product on our website, the Facebook pixel is triggered and stores your actions on our website in one or more cookies. These cookies allow Facebook to match your user data (customer data such as IP address, user ID) with your Facebook account data. Facebook then deletes this data again. The collected data is anonymous and not visible to us and can only be used in the context of ad placements. If you are a Facebook user and are logged in, your visit to our website is automatically assigned to your Facebook user account.

We only want to show our services and products to people who are really interested in them. With the help of Facebook pixels, our advertising measures can be better tailored to your wishes and interests. In this way, Facebook users (provided they have allowed personalised advertising) see suitable advertising. Furthermore, Facebook uses the collected data for analysis purposes and its own advertisements.

In the following, we show you those cookies that were set by integrating Facebook Pixel on a test page. Please note that these are only sample cookies. Different cookies are set depending on the interaction on our website.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

This website uses the LinkedIn Insight tag, an analytics and tracking tool provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. The LinkedIn Insight tag creates a cookie in your web browser and enables the collection of data about visits to this website, including URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser characteristics, timestamps and page views. This data is encrypted, anonymised within seven days and the anonymised data is deleted within 90 days. LinkedIn does not share any personally identifiable information with the owner of this website, but only provides aggregate reports on website audience and ad performance. LinkedIn also provides retargeting for website visitors so that the owner of this website can use this data to display targeted advertising outside of their website without identifying the member. The purpose of the data collection is to analyse visits to our website and campaign results in order to provide you with interesting information. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes in their account settings.

More information on the LinkedIn Insight tag can be found at The LinkedIn Insight Tag - FAQs | LinkedIn Help. More information about LinkedIn's data protection can be found in the privacy policy at LinkedIn Privacy Policy.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our company's newsletter, the data in the respective input mask will be transmitted to the controller. The registration for our newsletter is carried out in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registration you will receive an e-mail in which you are asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with other people's e-mail addresses. When registering for the newsletter, the user's IP address and the date and time of registration are stored. This serves to prevent misuse of the services or the e-mail address of the person concerned. The data is not passed on to third parties. An exception exists if there is a legal obligation to pass on the data. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter. The subscription to the newsletter can be cancelled by the data subject at any time. Likewise, consent to the storage of personal data can be revoked at any time. For this purpose, a corresponding link can be found in each newsletter. The legal basis for the processing of the data after the user has registered for the newsletter is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO if the user has given his consent. The legal basis for sending the newsletter as a result of the sale of goods or services is Article 7 (3) UWG.

Use of Sendinblue

Description and purpose: We use Sendinblue to send newsletters. The provider is Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany. Sendinblue is used, among other things, to organise and analyse the dispatch of newsletters. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving the newsletter is stored on Sendinblue's servers in Germany. If you do not want Sendinblue to analyse your data, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message. For the purpose of analysis, the emails sent with Sendinblue contain a so-called tracking pixel, which connects to Sendinblue's servers when the email is opened. In this way, it can be determined whether a newsletter message has been opened. Furthermore, with the help of Sendinblue, we can determine whether and which links in the newsletter message are clicked. All links in the email are so-called tracking links, with which your clicks can be counted.

Legal basis: The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO.

Recipient: The recipient of the data is Sendinblue GmbH.

Duration: The data stored by us within the scope of your consent for the purpose of the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of Sendinblue after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) remain unaffected by this.

Possibility of revocation: You have the possibility to revoke your consent to data processing with effect for the future at any time. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Further data protection information: For more details, please refer to Sendinblue's data security information at: Privacy Policy Personal Data Protection - Sendinblue
